You must earn an average of at least £123/week

You must have been ill for at least 4 days in a row (including non-working days)

What to do

You need to let us know as soon as you can by emailing info@uccontractors.com

If you have been ill for less than 7 days, you can self-certify please complete our Return to work form

If you have been ill for longer than 7 days in a row, you will need a fit note from your doctor or a hospital. This must be sent to us via email.

Payment

If you are eligible, you will be paid SSP for all the days you’re off sick that you normally would have worked, except for the first 3.

This is paid in the same way as your normal salary; our fee, tax and NI will be deducted.
